Have you ever seen so many yellow golf balls at a tourney? 😊

Kids are doing some damage at Scioto. Stack and Tilt Charlie Wi 54, Stewart Cink 53, Paul Stankowski 56, Tonny Two Gloves Gainey 50. Course looks fairly tough which is at it should be USGA Sr. Open.

It is often a very cool championship ..... Because we are mostly seniors on this forum, I should do a
Senior Open Contest next year. Might be interesting as we know most of the players.... 🤔

Harrington played amazingly well Sat. Cink is falling back some today it seems to be Harrington's to lose so far anyway. I am impressed with Scioto and the USGA setup. Good announcing also.

Looking forward to next year hopefully Stricker recovers health wise. Cink just had an off day. The younger guys coming up like Perez, Poulter and others will start putting pressure on the competitive below 60's. Scioto put it to the players no doubt and impressive playing by Haymes Snedeker only (Am) to make the cut.

Not sure, but aren't Poulter and Perez part of LIV Golf, and therefore ineligible for the Senior tour......??

They were, along with Stenson, exempt for this Open via qualifications from the PGA Tour, when they were on that.
Not sure if they can play other Sr. tournaments, but don't think so. Unless also previously q'd from PGA life.

Poulter qualified due to being on the Ryder Cup within the last 5 years.
(He has also paid his fines and eligible for the DP Tour)

Stenson qualified as a first year eligible player who has won a major.
He has also sat out a year, paid his fines and is not part of LIV anymore.

Perez is not part of LIV anymore, paid fines and has already sat out a year.
He's on the PGA Champions Tour now. He is eligible due to the all time money list.
