One of the toughest things I've had to do was admit to myself that I could no longer keep up an acceptable pace of play using a pull cart (later a nice push cart) as I had most of my golfing life. My hip replacement did great things for my quality of life but it didn't make me any more capable of walking my course without slowing things down.
I ride now on the few occasions that I go out to play a round. But I've mostly become a range rat. But that's OK. I can get to the course, hit a bucket, putt a few, and be home in an hour-ish. More time for spoiling my granddaughter.
