livegolf I could live with Tanglewood or Pilgrim's Oak. Glen Mills is a bit pricey for the state of my game right now. I have no desire to ever play Cobb's Creek again. @PA-PLAYA can back me up on that one... unless they've improved it greatly since we played there. Granted, it was in 2003, but it was awful. Felt like we were playing in a cow pasture.

Would be great to get a NE outing together. Should we start a thread and see about getting a date?

Maybe we should pick Father's Day weekend. I mean, the wifeys can't say much about us playing on Father's Day, right?

Cobbs Creek... just outside of Philly. An absolute dump. Or used to be. It was so bad that no matter what improvements they might've made I'll never go back there, ever. Not even if they let me play for free. lol

I would love to join you fellas, but I've got too much stuff going on over the next 2 months. I might be available sometime in July, but then again I don't know yet which weekend our Member-Guest tournament is up at my club around that time.

If something changes I'll certainly keep you informed. Thanks for the invite, Tanglewood looks great, I'm sure you fellas will have a great time!

DGreen Got it. Keep your eyes peeled for the NE outing that we're trying to get together. Looks like it might be in Southeastern PA. Maybe we'll get some guys to come up from VA, some down from RI, and who knows where else.

shokosugi Maybe we can get together for a game sometime, even though I must admit I'm rarely on the mainland with my clubs. Taking the car over on the ferry makes the green fees too high. 🙂 Are you in "the business"? If so, maybe I can pick your brain a bit one day.
