I had gotten on a pretty good roll in Dec/Jan - 7 straight rounds at 75 or better. Then I had one round where I had 36 putts (course I never played before). I decided to try other putters. Then I figured it would be a good time to try graphite shafted irons again since my swing was consistent. I then also needed new wedges to fit the gaps. So for the next 9 rounds, score ranged from 78 to 88.
After last weeks round, I decided the graphite shafted irons weren't working. So for this morning's round, I went back to the steel shafted irons, back to the old wedges, and back to the old putter (C-RAY!). 13/14 fairways, 14 GIRs, 3 birdies, 31 putts. 73 (+1).
I should have known better.
