I have a scramble coming up in a few weeks at a tough private place and I’m in a quandary of which iron set to use.
So far this year I’ve really just been hitting the 7 and P from the TM Tour Preferred MC / Steelfiber i95 set I picked up over the winter. They are great, flies a bit high but I think I’m just used to looking at the lower flight from my TWs. Yesterday I took out the 7 and P from the TW set. Haven’t used them yet this year. Hit them fine, not as good as the MC but again, first time using them this year.
I figured I’d just go into the TW’s but now I’m thinking I might use the MC’s this month of May because they are easier to hit this early and then go to the TWs for the summer.
