It's been forever since I posted in this forum, so I more than understand if you all ignore this, but I thought I would still ask. My daughter's school is doing "The Great Postcard Race", its contest to see which class can get postcards from all 50 states first.
If anyone is interested, I will post the details below:
Ask participants if they could send a postcard to Kalia Balboni in her homeroom with your child’s teacher’s name on it (Mrs. Fallon)
Possible information to include on the postcard would be, interesting facts about the state, where they live, the capital of the state. It would be great if the postcard includes a picture or something that represents that state.
ALL POSTCARDS MUST BE POSTMARKED from that state and be delivered to the school! Postcards should be personalized so that the child can read it aloud to the class.
