Any opinions on what is best? I’ve read to get the Beam style ones. Seems there is always a spot I front of me the wiper misses, or streaks.

Every vehicle I've owned, every type/style/brand of wiper blades I've used.....it's always there.
If a bird shits on the windshield, it will be in that spot.
If a leaf or tiny bud lands on the blade unnoticed, it will be in that spot.
Push that windshield washer button til it's empty.........it will still be there.

Do not fight it!😉It is the way.

Typhoon I replace the wipers in both cars every six months, to me there is very little difference. However, I don't keep them long. I liked Goodyear because COSTCO had them, not anymore. I use Rain-X Latitude 2-in-1 now. Mainly because I just re-order. Like a good clean window.

Par4QC You’re living my life. Only difference is I have to drive for work, you drive 2 miles a month.

I've had good function and very long life out of PIAA silicone wiper blades when I've used them. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck getting them for some car models in the family.

johnnydoom I've used the PIAA silicone a few times and I did think they were better than most.
It can be hard to find the right ones and that's why I stopped using them. Also the wipers on my 10 yr old 328 seem to work really well and they cost way less than PIAA.

I buy the cheapest ones. Around here after it rains they just sit and bake on the glass for months before you need them again. I use RainX instead.

azgreg that's all I do. I do use some rainx to clean the wiper blades, seems to help them last a while longer. Not sure if it'll help with the heat you see.

Have tried them all, they are not what they used to be, none last. I buy the low cost ones now because I know I will need to replace soon no matter what brand.

The wipers on my Tacoma are squeaking and it drives me nuts. I have tried several ways to clean them but no luck so I am looking at replacing them. The last time I did this was on a hot day and I had the blades removed and left the arms straight up. I accidentally bumped one and it smacked down on the windshield cracking it from top to bottem. Ooops. 😭

Rickochet Hate to admit it, but I've done exactly the same.😊 I lay a towel down on the windshield now.

Bosch Icon. I had squeaking and durability issues with other models. Expensive but worth it.

Use winter wiper blades in winter months ( Nov - March) and the regular variety ....generally get 3 seasons from each set.

Yeah, I used to put that on the windshield way back. Probably should start again. You don’t really see winter wipers around here anymore

Or you could buy Rain-X washer fluid. It's orange and sold by the gallon at places like Walmart. Use it a few times and
you don't really need wipers if you're driving in the rain. I works just like you put Rain-X on your windshield.

I rarely ever need to turn wipers on. Seems to last much longer than RainX.
