VigilanteTrail I have played the Sea n' Air course a few times, nice course and walkable, if so inclined. They are busy with the retired crowd, but never was problem when I walked on. Left a putter there back in the day.
The walkway in front of the airport by the boat ramps has live entertainment spread throughout. Very nice at late evenings, and safe.
Homeless practically live at the Starbucks. Many homeless areas have hepatitis concerns in SD.
The Carrillo Park up on top opposite of North Island NAS has the best views in San Diego. Nice, elevated area. Typically, can see some ships pass through.
The Tram/train is very convenient and nice.
Many great Pho restaurants. Little Italy has many nice small places to eat. All walkable if you park by the waterfront and boats. Limited parking downtown except garages.
Annoying bus to central rent a car center, however easy drop off when returning. Very few gas stations, plus one-way streets, near the rental car return and nice gas price to shock you back home.
