Recently, I had seen many discussions on the size of ferrule to be installed. Mainly, in question is the often confused ).355 to the o.370 ferrule as some places advertised.
Is there REALLY, a difference between the two ferrule?
Personally, and i could be wrong, I have always believed there are only s few considerations that concerns selecting a ferrule, besides the latest tend in multi colored rings ( personally do not care much for the circus colors ). i thought the few things are, the I.D. size and the O.D. size and the length, and whether the collar is required for centering the shaft. Never did I concern if there is a difference between 0.355 to 0.,370 size. Aren't they all measures 0.370 above the hosel? Why would someone state there are two different sizes? Perhaps a marketing strategy or someone does not understand?
