TaylorMade has filed a lawsuit against Callaway over alleged false advertising related to the Chrome Tour golf balls. The lawsuit claims that Callaway's sales representatives used UV light demonstrations to falsely claim that TaylorMade golf balls have uneven paint coverage and perform like "mud balls." TaylorMade is seeking injunctive relief, damages, corrective advertising, and attorneys' fees. The case is pending in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, and no trial date has been set yet.
