Although she's had an impressive career, I've never been much of a fan of Kerr. Probably has everything to do with the fact that she acts like she has a 30-day menstruation cycle and a permanent scowl on her face. My God, I couldn't imagine what it must be like being married to her...
My confirmation of her came about back in 2009. A friend of mine volunteered at the Women's US Open that year when it was hosted locally at Saucon Valley, he was a courtesy shuttle driver for the players. He said every morning he would go pick Kerr up where she was staying, help load her things, etc. and not once did she even as much as look at him, let alone speak to him or thank him. Then the final morning, he showed up to pick her up and said to her, "Good morning, Mrs. Kerr! I really hope you play well today and enjoy a beautiful day for golf!" (just to see if he could get a pleasant response from her) "Just take me to the course, please" was her reply.
He said all of the other players he drove for that week were incredibly nice and personable, offering to sign autographs for him unsolicited. Yet Kerr just acted like a complete horses ass.
I love watching her at the conclusion of the round, when she sticks her ass out and feigns pleasantries while hugging a fellow playing partner. So it didn't surprise me in the least that she applied a very unsportsmanlike degree of gamesmanship.
And I couldn't be happier that it backfired on her.
