I bid on a set of brand new / plastic wrapped Alpha RX-1 iron heads in one of Tim's Ebay auctions the other day.
It was an impulse bid, I really don't need them, but damn they looked nice, so with the original bid only $67, I figured what the hell, and bid $75.
I got to thinking about it a day or so later, and had "buyer's remorse." So, I've been hoping somebody would bid
over me and get me off the hook. Today's the last day, and my experience has been that guys will wait and bid
in the last hour or so, so sure enough, somebody finally out-bid me today! The auction ends at 7:00 Eastern tonight,
in case anybody's interested, BTW.
But I'm going to the Columbus Golf Show in a couple of weeks, and IF I spot something I like, I didn't want to have
the thought nagging in the back of my mind, "if only you hadn't bought those new iron heads on Ebay....!!! 😡"
BIG sigh of relief, LOL.....!!!!
