Hey John:
Yes, L.A.B. Golf has removed the "Made in the U.S.A." stamp from all newly manufactured DF3 putter heads. The company was advised to do this because some components, such as the shaft and grip, were sourced from outside the United States.
Older, genuine L.A.B. putters may still have the "Made in the U.S.A." stamp on the sole.
Newer models are generally only "assembled in the USA" in Oregon, which is why the specific "Made in the U.S.A." claim on the head was removed to comply with regulations.
The absence of the stamp does not mean a putter is fake, but rather indicates it is a newer production model.
Due to the rise of good quality counterfeits, L.A.B. Golf owner groups suggest buying directly from the manufacturer or authorized retailers to ensure authenticity.
