Par4QC Don't be fooled by those strong lofts either. They are made to launch higher, softer landing, but most times equal distance as what you got from the same 'number' old iron. YMMV of course.
Mine varied. lol At 70 years old I'm hitting my irons further / farther lol than before. Hit two '8' irons last Thursday that went ~ 145. Hit one pitching wedge that measured 123.
Yes these are the jacked up TM Sim Max OS. And yes they fly plenty high and far. When doing my research these performed the best out of the competition at the time.
When I demoed them at Edwin Watts they performed the best for me as well. Don't remember what the lofts are and don't care. I know how far each 'tool' hits for me.
Driver is a slightly different story. I've lost a little distance on average. But at 70 I play the senior tees. lol
