I am planning on doing a month long road trip in a loop from PA to the west coast, down to coast and then back again.
I plan on hitting the usual stuff Rushmore, Yellowstone, etc on my way west towards Wash/Oregon.
Then down the coast towards LA (Disneyland) then back east probably using Rt 40 but could do 10 if i want to see new orleans.
I know that there will be vast portions of the country i will just be driving through but that can't be helped. i am not retired yet so i only have so much vacation time.
Now that being said we all know about Pebble and Bandon and what not.
Those of you that live along my proposed route have any really nice or memorable "local" courses that i should look at?
Like the kind of course that is fantastic condition or has really cool views or whatever.
Bonus for not being expensive. I am looking sub $100 rounds, sub $60 would be better.
This may be a once in a lifetime trip but i am not interested in paying a lifetime for it.
