TL/DR: These are the best irons I have every used; 10/10
I picked these up a few months ago. I'd been playing the TS2/Nippon 890GH for some time. Loved them. Sometimes I struggled with hitting them too low, and never got along with the 5 or 6 too well. But then I hit rock bottom with my iron game and knowing it couldn't be me, I decided to build something new. Demo'd TS3, TE V4, TS4, TS1-IM, and the TS4 were the clear winner. Not sure why but I just hit them best.
My first build was with graphite shafts - Swing Science - and after a short honeymoon, this went bad. I just assumed I had become a bad iron player. I pulled out my young son's irons - old CER OS, with rifle 6.5, and hit them so much better. I missed steel I realized. I reshafted one with a Score shaft I had sitting around, and WOW! I reshafted the set, put on green Lamkin UTX grips, and haven't looked back. Even tho these are 2-4* weaker than the TS2 my distances are not a club shorter, but they are shorter. But these are way more straight and I hit them so much higher.
I also added in DRT wedges 52* bent to 54, and 58 bent to 59.
I cannot rec these enough. 'cap is down under 3 in large part thanks to better driving (the old Sim is going strong), but also due to the fact I feel that I can hit any green inside of 175.
