Accra FH tipping help

Moving a shaft from X1 3 wood to a Ping G425 5wood, i know it's tipped for the 3 wood ....trying to figure out how much more i need to lop off.

I do need to stiffen the tip / lower trag up. Thinking 1/2 x3/4

Lots of variables Pete. Bore depth, head weight among others.

You could always start at 1/2" and see if that's enough. Or go 5/8" and call it good. Shouldn't make too big a difference.

Is this a pull out you're using? There are a couple ways to figure out where it's at and where it would likely go to.

Weirfan I want to say it was 1/2", but it's been a while. IIRC they were pretty high launching so 3/4" may not matter?

Ya I understand, been doing this for 20+ years now.

I ended up going 2/3 of an inch . We'll see how that works. If not the shaft will hold up tomatoes ans i will buy a used Ventus Blue
