I am using this set up and love it but my buddy didnt.
I can send pics if anyone is interested. at $50 it is a cheap experiment

ode They had some Lab putters, didn’t think to put the TM against the DF3. No interest in buying a Lab so it didn’t cross my mind.

It’s funny see 6 of them for sale. 1 TM, 2 Labs, a couple odyssey square to squares. I wonder if people buy them and realize they still can’t putt and trade them in.

Typhoon Gotta try an Odyssey Ai Jailbird (T) Cruiser. Jake has one with that damned long-assed grip, club must be 40" overall.
I used it a few times 1 round, then last Sat. used it again for 2-3 putts.

Every one from both rounds were 1 putts. Mid to long range.
Might be even better than a L.A.B.

I wasn't that impressed with them. I built a pseudo Fowler putter a year ago. I used a TM Spider Ghost(instead of whatever his is.) Same length shaft. Just longer than normal, but not a "long" putter, arm lock or anything. And same long Super Soft White grip. Works well. I've putted like shit all my life with blade putters. Answer2, the latest was the Mizuno forged.....I sucked with it. I suck. Putting better with this one.

I've tried a few and I really only liked one of them. I started putting better (until the last round) by getting a bit of forward shaft lean at address. I don't think any of the ZT putters had the grip with that offset so maybe that's what I needed.

Typhoon Moved to a Spider tour slant neck 33”. Hit 1 of 4. Next up was a Ping Anser 2 like the Scotty I’ve been using. Hit 8 of 8.

Par4QC one time I threw along Winn grip on my Scotty Futura and put a 70 grams Clevis pin in for a backweight. I saw Angel Cabrera with the long grip on a normal length putter and it got me thinking about how it would distribute the weight down the shaft. Really liked it. There is a guy around here selling a Futura… I was tempted.

sdandrea1 No, I play the Newport/Anser style putter. I’d have done 8/8 with my own. My test was the “style “ of putter. I was suprised to hit 8/8 but maybe it’s just a shape I’m comfortable with.

Typhoon This thing is like a long putter for me and you.🤣
I just held it as normal as I do my 35" PING. Grip was about 10" above my hands. I only grip at about 33", but won't play a 33" putter.

Par4QC What I hated about the CB version of the zero Torque was because you don’t grip it at the end… and all counterweight is stuck in there at the top of the grip. So when I’d putt it had an unstable lag like feel between my hands and the end of the grip where the counterweight is.
