Anyone interested in a Philips DVDR3576H HDD & DVD recorder ? Very little use since purchased. Da Bomb a while back.

I'm sure someone here could use it. We still buy an occasional DVD because streaming is a no go when the power is out. I still buy CDs for the same reason.

It's not easy, but if you spin the disc fast enough with your finger...works for phonographs too

I once hooked up a 12 VDC DVD player we used for trips in the car to my my deep cycle trolling motor battery in order to give the kids something to watch during a long power outage. I know that's not applicable here, just including it in case someone has one, some old DVDs, plus an old car battery laying around the next time the power goes out.
