Couple guys on Senior PGA tour playing colored balls, BTW. At some point vision issues become a problem. I can see yellow and lime colored balls in the air and on the turf VERY well and easier than white. Can't see red, blue or purple at all.

If you're a purist, you'd be playing hickory sticks and a feathery.

I am more likely to wear Crocs than use a 2-piece ball. I like the prices, but they never seem to perform well for me. They are either longer off the tee, but unusable around our greens or just worse in every category. I have been able to find 3 pc urethane balls for relatively low prices that perform decently. I prefer White or bright yellow. Even the TM balls with the blue or red stripe can be harder to find in the thick rough.

KCee Ever try the Titleist Tru Feel? Feel/performance wise, I'd say the best all around 2 pc.. It's from Titleist, so maybe that should be expected.(??)

Par4QC Not sure I have ever tried that one. I tend to avoid Titleist as they are $$$ with no sales. I use Maxfli Tour, Oncore Elixr and the Legato balls. I've been able to get them for ~ $20/box at times.

I do remember years ago getting some TF Gamers (not sure which generation) for ~ $8/box and really liking them. Pretty sure they were 2 pc and no urethane cover, but they were a great "compromise" ball IMO.

Been playing the Srixon Soft Feel for years now. Orange exclusively. Brother in law gave me a dozen Pro V1’s (yellow) for my birthday and I use them on water holes. lol Only complaint with the Soft Feels is they’ve gone up to $24.99 a dozen.

Typhoon Fruity assed? No. I don't mind a colored ferrule or black with a gold or white band, but those multi colored jobs..... No.

azgreg Hammer was a weird name, but then again d2 wasn't much of one either. But I liked that line d2 feel and hammer control, original gamer and then gamer soft. Seems like with success of Maxfli Tour the little guys are getting the shaft!

azgreg revisiting this as I see the Gamer has the same cover as the Hammer and in the reviews on the DSG website indicate it is a 2 pc. ball and a pic of one cut open and indeed is 2 pc. 🤔.....might be worth a try as a Hammer Control / D2 Feel replacement / or maybe it is the same / similar ball!

I really like the Legato balls. Similar to Pro V1 for me. I also play the Titleist Tru-feel. Great ball for the price.
