When I saw your pick I thought it was a pretty inspired one given the setup of the course. Don't have stats, but in my mind there aren't any players better at playing from garbage lies than he is.

He had this course pretty much figured out in 2016 and was in form (played well up here last week) but this time he let it get to him mentally and checked out early, and took rory with him (or vice versa) lol. Oh well. Rose checked out later on too.
I expect they all go over Par today, their bags are already in the car and flights booked.

Dang. Scottie just blasted a putt 2 feet wide left and 8 feet past the hole on 17. Almost makes me feel better about my hands of stone - except my attempt would have gone 20 feet past on these greens.

Par4QC Ouch. Right now the projected cut is +4. I can't say I won't be surprised if it ends up more like +8 or if one of the people that picked the winning score at over par aren't right. Unless the weather intervenes, it will almost certainly get worse, or stay the same at best over the last two days. I'm shocked that Burns is having a great day as he is not usually a straight driver I don't think, but it will be something if anyone can string two consecutive days without a couple of blow ups.

Guess he gets to play on the weekend...Heading home so far: Dustin Johnson, Joaquin Niemann, Justin Rose - still playing but at +11, Justin Thomas, Shane Lowry still playing but at +13. Table-for-one - Reed is at +7...I'm cheering for Rory to get to + 7 so these 2 can be paired tomorrow (hope the USGA has a sense of humor) - piss them both off...
