I changed a setting on my phone when posting a pic. It has always been on “current “ for file conversion. I changed it to “automatic “ and Rex told me it worked. Weird because it’s always been on current.

Ate at the Hilltop many times. Had the butcher shop right next to it. Famous restaurant. Where are those cows in the picture?

Sneakylong Those Cows are up at a snooty white people only outdoor shopping place called Market St. It’s in Lynnfield on what used to be Colonial Country Club. You must remember that. They actually were able to keep 9 holes of it in the back and it’s called Reedy Meadow GC.

Another big steakhouse in the Boston area was Valle’s Steakhouse. They had one adjacent to The Hilltop. Remember going to Valle’s Steakhouse traveling to Boston as a kid on the southeast expressway. These steakhouses were huge and affordable.

Sneakylong Used to go to Vallees a lot with my parents. Later it turned into a night club called John Martin’Manor. Friends and I would go there a lot back in the 1980’s. On that site now is a CVS and a going out of business Joanne Fabrics.

Hilltop Butcher shop eventually became a little retail store too. Limited grocery items but used to be a good customer of mine. There was also a Hilltop Restaurant and Butcher shop in Braintree right off of Rt3 South
