My first time regripping one of the PING adjustable putters.

Let me stress this...Be EXTREMELY Careful removing the old grip. The adjustment device inside is plastic and you Do Not want to cut it!

Once to old grip is removed, then it pretty straight forward with 2 exceptions. One, enlarge the vent hole of the new grip to maintain access to the adjustment device with a T25 Torx Bit. I used a 1/4" drill bit. Yours may vary. Second Do Not put grip tape over the movement of the adjustment device.

Finally install the new grip as normal. Align and you're good to go.

Good Luck!

CallMeAl Great info Al! Pretty interesting design in there huh? I love mine because I went shorter but I hear complaints about feeling the shaft wobble if you go longer. It must be the sleeve.

      Typhoon

It's plastic. I can see it losing stability when it get near the end of adjustment.

Is that one of the pistol versions of the Champkey? I like mine.
