Sorry to hear about your Mom.
A fractured femur does not occur that often with total knee replacements. More often they can occur with total hip replacements. Wonder if she had an accident at home to cause it?
She’s lived with me for almost a year now. No accidents that I know of, the doctor noted she had severe deterioration in that knee and had to add some screws?
When we sat her down in the chair last night her leg was bowing inward at her knee. It was freaky looking and I said mom that doesn’t look normal to me. Then today she just couldn’t do it anymore and my wife had to catch her while my daughter ran like hell to the kitchen for a chair to slip under her.
Par4QC no, but if you dry fit one you might think it would work. Ping has some very odd hosel IDs that taper down to .355 but are VERY wide towards the top of the hosel, hence the need for the collared ferrule, although IMO it's more of a bushing ferrule or built in shim then it is a collar. If we are talking the old models that don't take a ferrule then I believe those are normal .355 taper.
ode I had a set of G5 that I sold. The guy broke a couple shafts so I cleaned the broken tips out and was going to find .355 shafts. Then I discovered that .370 would fit in 1 1/4". The graphite shafts(original) were also .370. Then while doing an online search, I came across an article that stated the bores were .370 in the later Ping irons. Seemed correct with what I had in hand. I reshafted his whole set with .370, no reaming. Just figured they were now being made like Maltby does theirs.
It's why I asked Steve about this.
I just checked Maltby's shaft fitting chart. 1995-present he lists all the irons at .355
There's a few hybrids at .370, but Maltby says PING irons are .355
sdandrea1 Not many, but a few at .370. However, a variety of sizes

I went thru the whole file and I only see .370 on hybbrids........?
sdandrea1 Right, my comment was this exactly. Did not make it well, should have said hybrids.
