Par4QC But, Pros never hit all shots perfectly. They do have, and are allowed, mishits, the same as we have.
Why would it be called a 'choke' when it was on the 13th hole? A choke.....is what happened on 18! And I fully expected it to happen. 13 was a poor shot....a brainfart, at best.
Preaching to the choir as far as golfers of all levels hitting bad shots. You want to see bad shots? Been to many tournaments and seen a lot of terrible shots. But they're usually not on TV on the weekend.
We can agree to disagree on what happened on #13. Again, he laid up perfectly on the left side of the fairway. Has the whole state of Georgia to the left side of the pin. He hits it the one place he cannot hit it. That was no brainfart imo.
Ever seen a top Tour player's wedges? They wear them out in the center of the club. He has that same shot practicing. He hits that shot on the safe side of the green 25 out of 25 times from 82 yards.
I'm a huge fan of Rory's, but he does make it interesting. lol Wouldn't be surprised if he plays well in the remaining Majors. He's gone back to back in Majors before in 2014.
The PGA Championship is at Quail Hollow where he's won 4 times. The U.S. Open is at Oakmont (tough course) and The Open is at Royal Portrush in Ireland. An hour from where he grew up.
And don't forget he's already won the 5th Major. 😉
