Yipsy It's been happening for several years. I've been diagnosed with mild sleep apnea....tried to wear one of those CPAP masks, but often would wake up in the middle of the night and realize that I had torn it off. So, no bueno.
I've become a side sleeper, which seems to help me sleep better than on my back (which led to snoring, waking myself up, etc.). Anyway, I find that the more active I am during the day (work, exercise, golfing, etc) the better I sleep at night. Yesterday I hit balls at the range, for example, and basically slept all night (pee interruption, of course). It is what it is, and I've learned to live with it. I usually get between 5-6-7 hours per night.....just interrupted
some nights.
