Got to hit the i-Win single length irons

Got the heads for a buddy at work and built them all up to 6i length (he preferred that over 7i) and today we finally were able to go to the range.

I only hit the 6i and the 9i, but I could easily get used to these irons. They were easy to hit, felt great and flew nicely. I think he is going to get the 4 hybrid as well, I will be talking to Aaron about getting one built up.

I'm waiting for someone on here to put another set up for sale so I can build them for my up north bag. I am currently using the DTG single length irons and am getting used to them pretty quickly (love the consistency). Glad to hear the i-Wins are solid performers too.

Hoss7504 It's not like I'm trying to talk you out of the i-Wins, but why wouldn't you duplicate your current set for your "up north" set. Why create a consistent set of clubs that grooves a single swing, and then create a second set that doesn't set up or feel like them?

I would agree with Kelco9, but then again, where would the fun be in that? Maybe one set would be better than the other and then Hoss could let all of us know his feelings for both sets!

I should actually grab my buddy's set and get swingweight and weight measurements for them as I forgot to grab that after the epoxy set. They feel slightly heavier than my Nike VRS Pro Cavity irons with Steelfiber i95 shafts.

Looked at the I-win irons.
Help me please understand the reasoning behind the different bounce and offset on each club???
If they are made to be swung the same, at the same length etc, why the heck would there be different bounces and offset up to the SW? Looking at the Pinhawks and my own In1Zone, the offset is the same throughout.
Bounce on the higher wedges for the Pinhawks makes sense (you want high on the SW for bunkers but lower on the LW and AW), but the I-Wins bounce just keeps going up from 2 deg on 5 iron to 12 on the LW
I don't get it at all...

candukid because they didn't build them as a true 1 length design, when the specs came out originally it was with different lies through the whole set, they don't get it. It's not just a set with one weight, there's more to it.

No real design here, just trying to capitalize on a trend with no effort.

Sorry Candukid, I don't have enough information for you on that. The set I built up is 5-AW, but I didn't hit the PW or AW.

DC300 when the specs for these came out, I think the lie and progressive offset specs were discussed, looks like Integra corrected the lie issue, but not the offset....I could see having a slight variation in offset in the long/er irons to potentially get some help with trajectory, but these go from 6.6 down to and less than 3 in wedges, that's way to much of a variation.

I was just going to post about the DTG one length irons. I hate the name ,btw but whatever. I went to GS the other day and I couldn't find the Cobra one lengths. Didn't want to bother a sales guy cause I had no plans to buy.
Anybody ever try these at 8 iron length? Seems that would be a bit short in the lower lofts.
How about the hybrids? Are they working out for you?
I wish they sold these individually but I understand why they don't. I'm surprised Hireko hasn't jumped on the bandwagon.
I had a set of the original My Ostrich Pure fit or whatever they were called. Still have a 5 iron.

Hybrids are the worst to adjust too. They seem SOOOOOO Short....
