Once again all are invited to participate in our Arizona adventure.

Friendly competition matches Thursday thru Saturday mornings. Optional afternoon rounds as well.

Tentative plans thus far (nothing signed yet):
Thursday morning - Raven
Thursday afternoon - Legacy

Friday morning - Verrado Founders
Friday afternoon - Verrado Victory

Saturday - still under consideration and accepting suggestions.

(Future consideration: Its always been in Phoenix and we love it. Recently costs and heat have given us a challenge, so we flirted with the idea of doing Tucson. Slightly milder weather, probably still costly as golf has just gone in that direction nationally. Please let me know your thoughts.)

Other than our dinners at White Chocolate nightlife has been load up on water and advil, lights out and bed for all by 9pm past few years

I'm flexible but with the US dollar costing me about 1.5x it is pretty punishing on a poor man's wallet, especially with our trip to Erin Hills and Wisconsin this summer, so might lean to Tuscon.

the heat is not an issue for me. We played in 116 degrees last year so could not be worse.

I am only 1 voice however and could keep things to just 18/day instead of the usual 36.
I do worry that Tuscon could impact participation of our Phoenix locals

I will make a concerted effort to be around more this year. I will have been at work long enough to have a bit more flexibility. I am good with the Old Pueblo or Phx, but having lived in Tucson, I am a bit more partial than most to it. I could help arrange to La Poloma if needed. Not sure I have any connections left at Tucson National, but dinner afterwards would be awesome.

I played Legacy over the weekend, It's an enjoyable course with wide fairways and terrific conditions. I didn't get a chance to play Raven, the sister course. Grass Clippings is an executive course by day and a lighted par-3 18-hole at night if anyone is interested in an evening diversion. Arizona Wilderness Brewing has fantastic beer and good food.
