And for the guys who are absolutely sure they can tell the difference, have a friend of your signs icant other buy one of each and put the soda into generic glasses. Taste them and decide. Do it multiple times. If you can't get it right about 70% of the time, you are full of it. (For the record, I am talking not talking about the diet versions, which tolme taste dramatically different.)

Here is my take on the subtle differences between Coke and Pepsi. Pepsi is brighter and has more citrus flavor. Coke is smoother and has more vanilla flavor. Other than that they are virtually identical. I don't think Pepsi is actually sweeter. I think the citrus fools the unsophisticated palate.

You want a real taste test to screw testers up, throw in RC Cola with the Coke and Pepsi.

I used to get one of these at Cracker Barrel every time I visited. Unfortunately the local one did away with the old timey soda cooler with ice and all sorts of different soda pops a few months back.

That was one of my favorite things about the place.

I remember the RC colas when they had the MLB players on the can, back in late 70's. They were $.25/can.

When I was in elementary school we had a snack lady who would come around to every room around 1pm and sell soda pop and Lance peanut butter cheese crackers. She had a little cart with everything, even candy bars. I would always make sure I got an RC cola, in hopes of getting one with Pete Rose on the front.

That would never be allowed today.

Total Fake News...Where did you dig up that bit of misinformation??? Mega Corp is not in the soft drink bottling business. On top of that regulators would never permit one entity to own both Coke and Pepsi. But, the real issue would be where would Mega Corp get the funding to purchase either, let alone both bottlers??? Together they have a market Cap of Half a Trillion Dollars!!! Musk and Bezos together would have some trouble scraping that much cash together.

I still think the reason was the killing of drinkers.
