This has been tested multiple times. People who love Coke and hate Pepsi, and vice versa, are not very good at identifying which is which in blind taste tests. And everybody thinks they are the exception, lol.
Turns out the best tasting cola of all time was New Coke, but it got run out of town on a rail by people who didn't want change. Even the guy who spearheaded the effort to bring back 'Classic Coke' picked New Coke over classic Coke when he didn't know which was which. Said it tasted a lot better. About 4 out of 5 people preferred New Coke over the original recipe when blind tasted.
