Yipsy Yes we had 4. Sadly we lost one in July and another in September. Spike is 11 and Varitek is also in the background in the picture and he is 15. Varitek is on alot of meds, has good days and not so good days. Ozzy we got from our breeder/sled dog person as a pup. Varitek we got from her when he was 4 and she retired him from the sled team. He was the Captain. Spike was a rescue from our town…. Animal control knew we were part of a Husky Rescue and had a family that couldn’t handle him… he was 2. We took him in… ended up keeping him because the people were so happy he was going to us with the other dogs. Charger was also a retired sled dog.
We knew there’d be a shitty time like this because Ozzy, Charger and Varitek are / were all 15.😪
