So in this image, We see two, 200 gram weights hanging by a string. The red dot shows the Center of Gravity or , the sweet spot.
200 grams, for the sake of an argument is the same as a driver head.
If we were to tie another 200 weight on the other end of the string that also has the same red dot in it's Center of gravity, we can now see that it took adding 200 grams of weight (or the full weight of another clubhead) to actually move the "new" center of gravity of the piece to the blue dot position.
