DC300 I feel like we donāt have the whole story if ANYBODY is paying $16k a year for auto insurance. Something is really off.
This is what the manager of the insurance office told us she was paying when we saw her in person. This coincided with when we spoke to another person in their office on the phone. They said someone in their office was paying $16,000 when I complained about us paying $2900.
Makes no sense for them to lie.
I donāt know how many vehicles, but assume itās at least two and she spoke of an adult daughter and young grandson living with her. Maybe more kids, donāt know.
We have cheap cars and have no idea what it would be if we had two expensive cars.
The two cars we have were $16,000 (2008) and $17,000 (2018) new. Canāt imagine what it would be if we had a couple cars that were $60,000 and $70,000 new.
But the point still stands. Insurance is outrageous. Could be because of thereās too many phony claims / lawsuits. One of my golf buddies is claiming a back injury after being rear ended in a car wash. How fast can you be going inside a car wash? š
Oh, and he drives a Cadillac Escalade. When he bought it I told him he could buy 4 - 5 of my cars for what he paid. lol
