Not meant to imply that. But I've never worried much about something like a Nazi goon squad working in the U.S. because our culture is too diverse and the thirst for freedom and independence is ingrained in that culture.

However, it only takes a small, detached, anonymous group of drone programmers and pilots to command enough drones/robots to squash any areas of resistance and none of the drones/robots are going to have any pangs that might cause them to turn whistle-blower or actively try to undermine from within. Wouldn't even be able to know who the people are behind such an operation or where it is commanded from.

Had Congressional hearings today and they ain't talking. A group of 10 drones followed a Coast Guard ship out in the ocean but nothing to be concerned about. Dont know anything about them, but no known threat. We'll be finding out what is actually going on in about a month or so.

Thing is, if there were 10 smaller boats following that ship out in the ocean, would we be asking anything about them? Would it be 'news' or worrisome?
Every day there are 100s/1000s of planes flying right over our homes. Ever worry about them? No news unless they crash.

When it comes right down to it, and no one is giving up any answers about the drones over New Jersey......just maybe they are supposed to be there and it's none of our damn business as to why/what for. Might be something dealing with a private industry/company. As long as they are following all regs, they do not have to tell anyone why or what.

But I think it's a Commie group that is coming for us. We're all gonna die.

I very much beg to differ, especially when the local authorities and the NJ district of Homeland Security have informed the public to notify them when they see them.

Just a thought, and I've not seen anything of such....but has our next President made any statements/asked questions about them? If not, it's nothing to concern ourselves with.😉

Par4QC Not really, especially federally. They have essentially owned the air about 1000 ft. I could fly just about anywhere if I remained above 1000. Although, back in the day, I have flown over many farms at 400'. Turkeys panic at the shadows,

Bravopilot FAA recreational drone regs require staying under 400' in unprotected territory. Probably in order to stay out of your flightpath.🤣

And iirc, the Fed regs overrule any local regs.

BTW, we stopped low level flight to extend the service life of the jet. Lots of stretch marks on the BUFF. Ripples on the fuselage. Soon Great Grandchildren will fly the same one.

Allowed? Have you met or worked with fighter pilots? The ones I know aren't worried much about permission........😉

jsippy73 Nope. I do have a some pictures though, 4-ship formation flight in Pilot Training. Best ones are from 400' in Monument Valley--very cool place except at night--very scary in pitch black sky and no horizon.
