jsippy73 Nope. I do have a some pictures though, 4-ship formation flight in Pilot Training. Best ones are from 400' in Monument Valley--very cool place except at night--very scary in pitch black sky and no horizon.

sdandrea1 We called it momentary deviation to ops check the equipment.😎 Only hard rule for me was no flight over weapons storage areas and nuclear power plants. Friend of mine did this, middle of the day, people took photos. He was never promoted again. When they painted base location on the tails, had to use better discretion.

I never doubted there are drones (for the umpteenth time). I merely questioned your sources of the information you quoted ABOUT the drones. It ain't personal man. Lighten up.

I was just watching the news on Fox with film from the NJ area. Many of the drones have the standard red/green port/starboard nav lights and anti-collision strobe lights. If they were doing something bad or stealthy why would they be displaying these lights?

I doubt that they’re doing anything bad. But, if one were to do something bad, who would get the blame? Iran? Russia? China? A cartel? Although none or those are actually believable, who has knowledge that could dispute whatever word was put out?

If you are doing something that you shouldn't be doing, and know you'd get in trouble for doing it if caught, you have to make it look like you are NOT doing anything wrong so no one pays attention to you.

Just wondered how low they can fly.
Last week my wife and I heard an unbelievable jet plane sound. Looked out the front window to see a military jet barely clearing the tree tops? Maybe higher. It had went between my house and my neighbors (our houses don't touch each other here) about 500 feet apart. I'm on a higher elevation compared to what's around me. Maybe 400 feet above a lake. Anyway the plane went lower towards the lake and went into a tight turn, made 2 laps around the lake and disappeared.

He then proceeded to a base in Texas. Just was curious as to being allowed to take a multi million/billion dollar plane on a "mission" like this. Was very cool to see.

Par4QC When it comes right down to it, and no one is giving up any answers about the drones over New Jersey......just maybe they are supposed to be there and it's none of our damn business as to why/what for.

I very much beg to differ, especially when the local authorities and the NJ district of Homeland Security have informed the public to notify them when they see them.

What I do think, and very firmly believe, is that Americans are too fucking nosy for their own good....most of the time. And they do not realize there is not a damn thing they can do about much of anything like this situation.
