They’re all good. I think they all have the ability to turn off slope. I have a couple Bushnell’s a Callaway and a TecTecTec. I think the Bushnell has the brightest viewfinder. The Bushnell and Callaway lock on target easy. One of them vibrates when it locks on. I wouldn’t get the rechargable battery… the CR batteries are easy to find and replace.
Also… forgo the magnet mount if you can… HE WILL LOSE THE RANGEFINDER LEAVING IT ON A CART. That’s why I have so many
