I know a number of Speed Golfers from Wisconsin. There are two Speed Golf courses in Wisconsin. It seems to be a coming thing for those that really are in shape. Walking 18 is about as much as this old guy can handle anymore. Back in the day we kinda played Speed Golf but didn't know that it was a thing.

That does not look like fun. I could see an avenue for those who are into fitness/running to run between shots but then size everything up and hit the snot. That dude isnt even lining anything up, there must be a time/score formula!

There are times in the a.m. where I will walk at a fast pace (3 wheel push cart) for the additional benefit of exercise, and get around in under 2h easy. This morning was 2h15m at about as slow as I can go.

For traditional golfers this is not their thing. I think it has a place. My daughter is a Nat'l Guard Army Staff Sgt. in shape and runs marathons she has played Speed Golf and prefers it over traditional golf.

I did that occasionally about 20 years ago. I'd run between shots but took a normal amount of time for shots. Only did it for 9 holes, it was a good workout.

There's a member at my former course who runs to his ball. Just did it for exercise. He was a low capper as well.

I could have done that 25 years ago and enjoyed it. I was one of the better distance/road runners in my little corner of Western Pennsylvania…Now, with bad ankle, 3 surgeries on left knee/leg, from all the pounding on pavement and stepping in a hole, and Covid induced emphysema from my 3 months battle with Covid in early 2020 I couldn’t complete the first hole…But, good on the guys/gals who can…

When I was a sophomore in high school I worked as a greens keeper at our local course. I'd get to work at 6:30 or
7 AM and many days there would be a priest from a neighboring town playing golf. He'd get there as soon as you could see the ball in the lighting conditions. Many of the days this is how he played his round. He'd hit the ball and run between shots. Some days he'd just walk or run part of the round. Our course is quite hilly too. He was in his late 50's I would say.
