TLT sets are basically long irons shorter and short irons longer with 3/8" playing length increments and many are built with MoI heft match which is easier to do than swing weight as swing is devised 7g between clubs and for 1/2" length graduation. The cause and effect of the player of 1/2" length graduation sets to change their posture position for every club in the set. This is fine for those that have a lot of range and practice time to perfect each and every club with 1000's of balls hit. If you don't have time to practice it makes the game that much harder.
Todd you are kinda doing a TLT in a way.
As far as swing speed and equivalent loft gaps.
These are the mid iron club head speeds…..
mid iron speed over 72 mph – 4* increments (average player)
mid iron speed 60-72 – 5* increments (some seniors and some ladies)
mid iron speed under 60mph – 6* increments (seniors and ladies) Wishon 730CL work perfectly for these club head speeds with skill and ability.
BTW Todd did you think about a Cobra LTDx one length set or does Cobra's one length concept not "fit" your mindset on one length? Cobra's conventional length sets are quite long a playing length and upright lie for some (38.50" 5i 62.50 deg.)
