So I took these out to play finally. I noticed 2 of the clubheads rattle when you hit the club on the ground. I’ll email Ping tomorrow but any ideas on what it’d be? It’s a hollow head😳. I tightened one toe screw with the Ping driver head wrench but it made no difference

    Most of the time a brittle piece of epoxy floating around in the shaft. But if it’s inside the hollow club head a mystery. Might be able to remove the screw if it opens into the head and rattle it out the hole? How did you hit the Pings? Good to hear you’re playing golf again

      What I’ve found is usually loose epoxy or a loose hosel weight with PING clubs. YMMV. Let us know what you find. Good luck.

        bigshank Tonite or tomorrow I'll unscrew the toe weight and see. I'll have to bang all the clubs on the ground. 2 of them were rattling. Its not epoxy in the shaft, that you would hear going up and down the shaft.

          Eguller First round with them today, they felt different than the forged blades i have been using. They are ok though, I want to keep on them for a while. They are a club to a club and a half longer than the Nike Vapor pros. I hit both 7 irons on the sim last night... very interesting... the " loft jacking" people will be pissed because its all just the Hollow head itself.

            Eguller So I took out the weight screw, club still has that vibration sound. But nothing rattling around in the head. I’ll have to push the grip off some time and see if the guy before me has something in the end of the shaft before I email Ping.

                Typhoon If you recall, I told you those were noisy irons. I thought it was the LZ shafts mine had, but have since discovered those shafts are not the problem.

                    Par4QC haha… no some are solid when you bang the grip end on the ground. I don’t think there is anything in the grip end because they feel fine.

                    Dan, hosel weights on those come loose?

                        I’ve seen more that a few heads come loose over the last year. So ….. depends. That model may not use any weights.

                          When I had a set of the i500's, the 8 iron head came off during play and flew into the lake.

                          PING did replace it, and they ended up reshafting even club in the set. I sold them soon after receiving them back.

                            PING irons went to hell after they closed the Phoenix foundry and started using ferrules. Get off my lawn!! 😎😂

                                  I have to send them pictures of the club…. Blah blah…. Let’s see how their customer service is on a mfg defect. TM I know even from before I worked there as being good. Ping in the past….
