Less than a 3% drop, not a real bad day and the furthest thing from Black Monday which was almost a 23% drop in the DJIA. My guess is Today wont even be in the top 40 largest %age drops for the Dow

this was coming and pretty much everyone knew after the massive run up.

A few more days like this and might be time to dip the toes back in.

Also with the average age on this board likely over 70, I'm sure ( or hope ) that few have too much of their $$ wrapped up in equities which are always a crap shoot

Didn’t lose a dime…went into “cash” fund awhile back knowing that something eventually had to burst a little bit…but will continue to monitor for the approximate bottom as @Weirfan has suggested above 👍

My 11 year old is a saver. He’s got $500 in a CD and wanted me to open an investment account for him. I opened a custodial account and spotted him $50 in a zero fee fund that approximates the S and P 500. When I told him he lost $0.93 today, he went to his little electronic safe, took out all of his $360 in cash, and told me to add it to the account to “buy when it’s low.” Smart kid.
