My group of Geezers play the Yellow tees no matter what course we are playing. A few years ago we decided to play the tees that suit our distance losses since ageing. Game is more fun and geezer tees suit our game better than the men's tees or the ego tees we used to use. Youngest in the group is 73, oldest is 86. We have always been proponents of play the tees for your ability and age...Except for one guy, we were all single digit handicappers in our 30's,40's and 50's...Now, in our mid to late 70's, except for the "real geezer", we are mostly +12 to 15 cappers generally due to short game issues usually due to lack of practice and concentration...But we have a great time every time whether we shoot 78, that's my age and I shot that last Thursday or 90, which I shot last Monday - same course...Get out there and have fun - none of us make our "living" golfing...But the beer tastes better when you aren't the one buying...
