darpar SMT Wow,he was scheduled to race this weekend....only thing I could find was he died of severe illness. 41,that's way too young! RIP
azgreg darpar only thing I could find was he died of severe illness. Turned out to be sepsis brought on by severe pneumonia.
mulegolf He apparently called on his radio for a doctor during his last race. When he was young, I didn't care for him but he kind of grew on me.
Spuzz Claude Lemieux, 60, former NHL great and controversial player, by suicide, 3 days after carrying the pre-game torch before a Montreal Canadiens game. RIP
johnnydoom Spuzz That is depressing to hear. Hopefully his suffering is over, and he can rest in peace.
Par4QC johnnydoom Hopefully his suffering is over You being a church going man should know it only just began when he did such a thing. The sin you can't ask forgiveness for. just sayin'...
johnnydoom Par4QC The only unforgivable sin that I am aware of in Christianity is to speak against or grieve the Holy Spirit. I am not a deeply studied theologian though.
johnnydoom Par4QC You have to be repentant, God already knows the heart and it’s requests. It is (my interpretation - which may be incorrect since Jesus did not explain in detail) when you continue to sin (justifying to yourself) without repentance that you grieve the Holy Spirit.
BobA azgreg NASCAR fans of a certain age will remember him getting to call the 1993 Daytone 500 win by his son, Dale. He retired as a driver circa 1966 in his mid-30s, the only driver to retire as defending champion (I believe).
braveheart azgreg Gilad was great. Presentation and manner that was excellent in all his fitness videos.
