garyt1957 Was browsing Amazon for ferrules and saw some aluminum ones. Anybody try them? I'm thinking they'd be reuseable at least. I know lots of you guys save the plastic ferrules but I don't bother.
scotts33 garyt1957 I just used some old metal ferrules that I had on hand from the late 80's on a set of reshafted Lynx Master Model irons.
ode Have not used.....I would think that reuse would be easy BUT the od would.need.to be close to look decent.
darpar I've used them and I think they look great, just have to make sure the hosel dia. matches perfectly with the ferrule....always dry fit first.
KCee I was thinking of using them on my next iron set build. Thought it might look really cool if I can match the OD.
LogicalOne Love them. Had some custom made to offer to customers and they’ve been a hit. Still nowhere near the amount of plastic ferrules selected, but still a good amount. 👍🏼😊
DC300 Love the look, wanted to use them, but the OD I could find didn’t match my Wishon’s. Maybe next time. Looks like I’ll be re-shafting them anyway.
