garyt1957 I actually like Little Ceasars. Of course it's not gourmet but for under $6 and able to walk in and out with a pizza in seconds it works just fine. Thete was a time years ago when it was inedible but that might just have been my location. Ever since the HotnReady I think it's been fine.
PA-PLAYA The only "fast food" pizza I care for is thin crust from Dominos. And since no one delivers out by where I live, I usually have to go pick it up. So if I have to go get it, I want a real pizza from a family owned pizza shop.
Ack8236 We get Little Caesars once in awhile. It's relatively quick and less expensive. It is what it is and we don't expect anything special. Jets is pretty good but a little pricey. We go between the deep dish and the New York style. There are a number of local places that have really good pizza. We'll get those when we plan for pizza and it's not a last minute "let's just get pizza" night.
JoeHatesSnow This deep dish pizza we get at Costco is delicious. It's very greasy so I try not to eat it often but I love it. ๐ฌ https://www.costcobusinessdelivery.com/authentic-motor-city-pizza-co-detroit-style-deep-dish-pizza%2C-double-pepperoni%2C-2-ct.product.100378776.html
pellmell Par4QC Little Caesar's is not pizza!! Exactly, there's frozen pizza, Red Baron Classic Crust and Amy's cheese pizza specifically, which is superior to anything from Little Caesers.
Rickochet pellmell Exactly, there's frozen pizza, Red Baron Classic Crust We usually keep a few Red Baron 4 cheese pizzas in the freezer and add some additional toppings.
Eguller Rickochet We usually keep a few Red Baron 4 cheese pizzas in the freezer and add some additional toppings. We do something similar with DiGiorno and dress it up to our liking. They changed the thin crust recently and it is not quite as good as the original. ๐คจ
LBlack14 Costco used to have the best frozen, deep dish and then they didn't. Just like other stuff I get to liking. Just stop having it anymore.
JoeHatesSnow LBlack14 I agree there are lots of things they seem to run out of when you get used to having them. The regular Kirkland thin pepperoni in the 4 pack and the Detroit city deep dish pizzas in the 2 pack though have always been there in our local stores to this point.
Par4QC azgreg I just had a pizza pocket, or whatever it was called, from the grocery store deli around the corner. iirc, $2.29 and had more meat/sauce/cheese in it than any large Lil Caesar's pizza ever had. ๐
bogeypro The only thing about Little Caesars pizza that relates to real Mom & Pop pizzeria pizza is the round shape...hard stop.
garyt1957 My Dad wanted pizza at about 10 last night. We have a LC basically down the street. For 5 minutes time and $5.66 this did the trick
KCee garyt1957 If I wanted pizza at 10 pm my dad would have told me to just go to bed and get up early for a big breakfast lol. Now that he's in his 80's I probably would get him pizza at any hour.
