  • Grass isn’t always greener. UPDATE Cally Rogue

I tried. I really tried, but as much as I wanted to like the Callaway Rogue Max D, I don’t. I tried it with various shafts and settings, but it is just not as good as my Ping G400 Max. The ping is straighter and a bit longer. It truly seems to be one of the best drivers ever made. The Rogue is a great club, just not for me.

    candukid many have tried.to unseat the 400 Max and came to the same.conclusion. the goat of modern drivers!

      I’ll have to take the 400 max out again, it’s the GOAT. Love my Stealth 2 but there is just something about the max

      candukid I never tried the G400 Max. I had a G400 SFT which was great, but I found it kind of short hitting although very straight. I have a Rogue ST Max which is a little shorter hitting than the Epic Max LS it replaced, but straighter and more forgiving. I probably should have gone for the Max LS again to get more rollout.

        So. Tried one more shaftl. Now this shaft is NOT supposed to work for me. MMT 70 X flex
        Golly gee! I can actually get into the swing and pound it very straight. Even hit a couple of baby draws.
        Who'd a thunk it.
