colej Making this post to not clog up the regular Masters 24 thread. These are pictures my buddy shot with his camera. Picture below I’m the 2nd one from left. This where the players skip it across the pond. Gary Cowen, guy that actually came up with skipping it across the pond was there. They pulled him out of the crowd to do it one more time. It was awesome.
colej fatshot Yes sir! It was a great time. My buddy Rob is a professional photographer and brought his camera in. You can bring a camera for a practice round but still no phones.
colej LBlack14 $3 for a sammich, $2.50 for a sports drink, $1.50 for a large cookie, $6 for a beer in a plastic masters cup you keep. A lot of other sport venues could take note!
Bravopilot colej Remember someone here posted about the ability to buy a lot of stuff low and sell high on the bay. Legal. Did you see much of people hauling bags of Master gear out? I need to go there.
Typhoon Such a cool place to experience. I went a couple times back in the 90’s. Seeing the elevation changes and where holes were in relation to others was mind blowing for me.
colej ode Yes and it was very good, along with the moon pie, chocolate chip pecan cookie, bbq sammich, and crows nest beer. The beer was pretty darn good to bad you can’t get out outside of there. 🙃
colej Bravopilot Tons of people hauling things out. Guys and girls with 6-7 bags per person. There’s no limit on what you can buy. Things aren’t priced horribly either. Masters logo hat $30, logo polo $89, ball market $20, divot tool and ball marker set $20. A few places setup throughout the course that would sell hats and towels (not everything stocked like the main shop) next to food, and bathrooms. The main shop as you walk in was huge and the line to get in was huge. Again the well oiled machine that it is, we waited in that line and fully expected to take an hour. It was 15 minutes and it constantly flowed. They controlled flow in and out.
Spartan I skipped one across a pond yesterday. I'd like to say I did it in honor of the Masters but it was just a bad, then lucky, shot.
Weirfan Thanks for posting . I was fortunate enough to go in 2017 and 2018, the latter with fellow Buzzer Hobbit. It's a magical place that cannot truly be described nor appreciated without having been there.
