As to Boone's Farm that was the after runner of Ripple 59 cents a quart 1967 - 1968 time frame.
Born in '49 and got 17 of 17 but I also thought that Boones Farm was a newer product. I remember Richard's Wild Irish Rose wine as the real cheapo predating Boones Farm. There was also Mogan David Wine. We always had the same crew of trash tippers on the city garbage truck and my dad would leave them big bottles of Mogan David on top of the trash cans on Christmas week.
