The issue of a modern civilized society that normalizes mass shootings and gun violence actually should be apolitical. Again, it should be a public health / safety issue.
If wanting a society with less mass shootings / gun violence is considered far left, then count me in. Meanwhile the thoughts and prayers solution seems to be doing absolutely nothing.

professor maybe not more law. I believe that the country needs to get back to following the constitution, more enforcement of already on the books that do not conflict with the constitution. Less writing new laws that do nothing except make politicians feel better. And less government. Less irs, less dept of education (that in itself is a joke, since that monstrosity was created this country has fallen in quality of education), get rid of the FED, and a bunch of other useless agencies.

Many have an inate hostility toward a strong national government. Some of our ancestors came here fleeing oppressive national regimes. Those experiences conditioned being suspicious of big government.
But many came to the United States with high hopes for a better life, which they eventually received from the United States government with the coming of the New Deal that produced the GI Bill, Social Security and eventually Medicare.
So many say they hate big government until they need it. People tend to like clean drinking water, safe food to eat and many of the things that we take for granted in everyday life. This countries big government helped rebuild Europe after WWII as well.
People have a disconnect when it comes to big government. People love big government programs. They hate socialism, but love the socialist programs like Social Security, Medicare and related programs.
So when people say they hate big government I laugh. Most people want a strong military along with the so called entitlement programs. And guess what? That’s where most of the money goes to fund those things.
So complaining or cutting other parts of big government is really just nibbling around the edges. May make you feel better, but don’t amount to a hill of beans in the grand scheme of things.

A significant percentage ( ~ 40%) of illegal immigrants come here legally on an airplane and then overstay their Visa’s. In other words they don’t leave.

That limit is something set by PP only for accounts. They do various holds for various reasons, esp. when shipping. They hold the funds until the buyer shows proof of delivery, or you do with the tracking number. They actually will hold up both sides of the deal. Never much of anything negative that I've read about. Just pissing people off when they do that.

Rickochet I saw something on the news this morning that St. Louis had 328 vacancies for police officers. That does not include the 100 vacancies that were canceled by the defunding police administration
Not sure what this has to do what happened today in Kansas City. 
Included in the 800 law enforcement on the ground at the parade were federal, state and local law enforcement.
