propman ode the above post explains it. Equipment, fertilizer and water. Definitely ain't payroll😄
garyt1957 Well, we played a course today in Fort Myers, the Club at Westminster. Cost us $204 for two. At least it was well conditioned. I felt like it was closer to a $100 course than anything we've played so far.
garyt1957 PA-PLAYA I'm sure the costs are high. But I assume everybody's paying the same for fertilizer, etc. So if a $50 course can keep conditions up why couldn't a course that's charging $100? That's my gripe. If I'm paying $100 I don't necessarily expect pristine conditions but they should be what everyone agrees is acceptable.
Sarnella 18 holes is 18 holes. It should not cost more for upkeep if you have 10,000 rounds or 5000 rounds played. JMO
Birdsboro My favorite course in all of Florida…. Royal St. Cloud. Always in fantastic shape and usually can get a round in less then $50. When I first played there I about 15 years ago it was about $35 if I remember right. Back then it was significantly cheaper than courses of a similar condition. I would say that it still is.
fatshot Birdsboro My favorite course in all of Florida…. Royal St. Cloud. Always in fantastic shape and usually can get a round in less then $50. Agreed! Now it's up to $63 for morning tee times and $53 after 12:00 though. Still damn reasonable for what you're getting though. May try to play there before we head for home...
