Wow.....sorry to hear this. I remember being thrilled to get those first catalogs and realizing that I could regrip, repair, and eventually build my own clubs. He came first, and Maltby wasn't too far behind.
Eventually he opened retail stores, and luckily for me, there was one about 2 miles away from my daughter's house in Columbus. Whenever we would go to visit I would carry the luggage in and then make a beeline for the Golfsmith store. Got some great deals at that store.....
